Edge-Rackable Pallet in 2 Sizes Offers High Strength and Customization for any Environment

Buckhorn, a leading designer and manufacturer of reusable plastic packaging, adds the
edge-rackable Universal Pallet to its comprehensive line of material handling
products. The Universal Pallet is the only pallet of its kind to offer high-strength
racking capacity plus a full range of configuration options in both
48" x 40" and 48" x 42" sizes.
Both sizes of the Universal Pallet
provides edge-racking capacity up to 2,800 lbs. without support. Automation-friendly, the
pallet moves easily from racking and forklifts to conveyors and lift tables, making it
ideal for most any manufacturing, distribution, and warehousing application. The wide
variety of features and options allow customers to configure the pallet for their
application environment:
- Metal or plastic
reinforcing rods molded-in to match capacity/racking needs up to 2,800 lbs.
- Anti-slip rubber
plugs on deck, rails, and feet to stabilize loads and allow safer handling
- Choice of no lip or
1/4" or 1" perimeter lip to help prevent loads from shifting in transport
- Pallet is easy to
clean with steam, hot water, and detergents
- 4-way entry provides
easy handing from any orientation
- Beveled fork
openings for easy alignment with fork tines
- Bottom runner is
easily replaced or repaired if damaged
- ID labels, tags, and
stamps for easy inventory control and pallet tracking
Replacing wood pallets, the
Universal Pallet delivers a quick return on investment with lower cost per trip and
savings from product damage, pallet repair and waste disposal, racking maintenance, and
more. The pallet meets GMA standards with a low profile comparable to wood pallets. Molded
from high-density polyethylene, the pallet resists impact, moisture, most chemicals and
temperature extremes. Solid construction makes the Universal Pallet easy to clean, and it
is 100% recyclable.
