48" x 45" ROMEO PALLET MEETS NEW
FORD REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERSTACKABILITY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Buckhorn's 48" x 45" Romeo pallet and top cap was redesigned to meet Ford
Motor's requirement that it interstack with their approved 48" x 45" pallets and
collapsible bulk boxes. The changes do not affect how the pallet and cap interwork with
older versions of 48” x 45” pallets.
The Romeo pallet, molded of
heavy-duty, HDPE structural foam, meets AIAG requirements and is compatible with all
straight wall totes currently on the market. Extremely durable, the Romeo pallet has a
static load capacity of 32,000 lbs, and a dynamic capacity of 8,000 lbs. The top cap is
vacuum-formed HDPE for ease of handling and is designed to provide a strong interlock with
the pallet or bulk container above it. Both the pallet and top cap can accept up to four
cargo belt systems and have areas for ID tags and labels.
Buckhorn's pallet line includes
Light-Duty, Medium-Duty, Heavy-Duty, and Pallet and Top Cap systems in various sizes,
including 32" x 30", 40" x 40", 48" x 40", 48" x
42", 48" x 45", and 48" x 48". Buckhorn pallets fit capacity
requirements up to 8,000 lbs. dynamic and 3,000 lbs. racked, depending on model. Pallet
styles include nestable, stackable, rackable, and edge-rackable. Pallet and Top Cap
systems help to stabilize loads and permit secure, safe stacking of one pallet load on
another.
