CHILLPAC™ RETURNABLE
CONTAINERS PROVIDE A COST-SAVING FOOD
HANDLING SYSTEM FROM PROCESSING TO RETAIL

ChillPac™ containers provide a complete reusable packaging system to reduce costs and
increase productivity in food handling and distribution. Reusable ChillPacs feature a
24" x 20" footprint in 7", 10", and 13" heights, creating a
versatile food container system to go from processors to distributors to retailers and
efficiently chill/cool poultry, meat, seafood, produce, and prepared foods; ChillPacs are
ideal for case-ready distribution applications. All container sizes stack and nest
together, maximizing cube efficiency on 48" x 40" pallets and offering
flexibility to meet the requirements of users throughout the food supply chain.
Pivoting steel bails swing in for
stacking and out for space saving nesting storage. The open-weave side and bottom design
maximizes airflow to minimize cooling time and optimize heat dissipation for uniform
coolness. Lightweight construction and molded-in handles assure easy lifting. Uniform
design facilitates use with automated handling systems. Molded from FDA/USDA-approved
materials and designs, ChillPacs resist impact, moisture, and temperature extremes of
-20°F to 120°F. Pallets and dollies are available to facilitate handling and
distribution.
Replacing cardboard packaging with
reusable plastic ChillPacs reduces operating costs by decreasing product damage;
eliminating cardboard box purchase, handling, and disposal costs; optimizing ergonomics to
decrease worker injury; and cutting product handling time to improve efficiency and reduce
labor costs. Buckhorn container and pallet systems are fully recyclable.
