Unique to the material handling industry, these options include gravity doors, removable panels, extension collars and more, which are designed to improve material handling productivity and expand the functionality of the containers.
XT 3230 Options
Buckhorn’s 3230 Bulk Containers, the industry leaders in small footprint bulk containers, are ideal for small parts, resins, powders and other materials. Special options now in stock for the XT 3230 Series are:
- Fixed Wall 32" x 30" x 17" XT Transport Tub (Model BF323017) allows efficient shipping of dense loads to line-side operations and efficient cube utilization in applications that do not require tall sidewalls.
- Gravity Door on XT 3230 Bulk Containers (Models BC323025 and BC323034), in heights of 25" and 34", allows easy, side discharge of small parts. Available on 32" side.
XT 4845 Options
Buckhorn’s 4845 Bulk Containers are the standard in manufacturing industries, such as automotive, appliance and electronics for parts or component shipping and in-process handling. Special options now in stock for the XT 4845 Series are:
- Gravity Door on XT 4845 Bulk Containers (Models BI484525 and BI484534), in heights of 25" and 34", allows easy, side discharge of small parts. Available on 48" side.
- Removable Access Panel on XT 4845 Bulk Container (Model BI484534) in 34" height. This unique feature – available only from Buckhorn – allows efficient access to contents as the entire panel can be easily lifted out by sliding two locking latches.
- Drop Doors on the 45" side of the XT 4845 Bulk Container (Model BI484534) with 34" height allows for efficient access when the container must be used in narrow areas.
- 10" and 14" Extension Collars for the XT 4845 Bulk Container (Model BI4845) broadens the height offerings to 35", 39", 44" and 48". These extended height boxes allow for transport or storage of large, bulky parts as well as storage of dunnage in the lower portion of the collapsed container during return shipment.
